All Church Retreat, October 2000
YMCA Camp Tockwogh (Worton, MD) All Church Retreat to
include men, women, and children on October 20, 21,
and 22, 2000. There is a brand new ($1.1 million) Tickwogh
Lodge (sleeps 40) and 3 rustic cabins that sleep 9
each. Tickwogh Lodge includes 8 bedrooms each with a
bathroom and two showers that sleeps 5 in twin beds.
The Tickwogh lodge has two meeting rooms with a
fireplace. The rustic cabins are enclosed with
electricity and bunk beds. The wash houses are
conveniently located near the cabins.
The rates are as follows with a $200 maximum for
families staying in cabins and a $300 maximum for
families staying in the lodge. There is scholarship
money available through the minister's discretionary
fund. Ask Nancy for details.

The camp offers fine family style dining with 5 meals
included in a modern dining hall. The camp has their
own scheduled activities including waterfront with
boats, rock climbing wall, arts and crafts, ropes
course, tennis, basketball, softball, archery, hiking
trails, lake for fishing, etc.
A committee is being formed to schedule our own church
activities to be included during the retreat. Help is
definitely appreciated.
