The telling of the life histories, stereotypes and roles that were imposed upon a young transgender growing up in America. One person’s story of how she responded as a child, an adult, and when she finally understood who she really was. The pain and joy, tragic losses and eventual gains of community, affirmation and transition.

The Workshop - Sexuality and Gender

Our guest speakers will lead us in a 2 hour workshop giving us the opportunity to explore some realities and misconceptions that are rampant in our culture resulting in confusion, erroneous logic and assumptions.
Please plan to attend this very special service and workshop. We can promise you will be challenged to move out of any preconceived notions you hold about sexual orientation and gender identification. Our guest speakers are both Unitarian Universalists and they have vast experience helping UU’s to better align their feelings and values so we can truly practice our first principle of the Inherent Worth & Dignity of Every Human Being.
