Soul Matters: Sacred Words
Begins Sunday mornings, September 13th
Drop-in class, no registration required
This fall our “pre-service” Adult Religious Education offerings will kick off on September 13th. We are excited to integrate our themes with those of the worship, small group, and other programming. We will use the Soul Matters themes to plumb the depths of our spirits. In September, we will look at the theme of Renewal and the sacred word “Grace.” In these strange and disrupting times, how do we renew our spirits, and what does grace have to do with that process? Let the explorations begin!
This is a drop-in class to be held on Sunday mornings 10:00-10:50 with rotating facilitators. The Zoom log-in information will be included with the sermon information on Sunday mornings. There is no need to register for these sessions. Come when you can, as often as you can. The discussions are always good, and who knows what you may hear or what these conversations may evoke. We look forward to being with you, even virtually. You make our hearts sing!
The Artist’s Way

It is not just for artists, but for anyone interested in living more creatively through practicing the art of creative living. “No matter what your age or your life path, whether making art is your career or your hobby or your dream, it is not too late to work on your creativity.” Join artists, Karen Rege and Yolanda Chetwynd in discovering your artistic gifts through reflective exercises and thoughtful discussion.
The workshop is 13 weeks and will run via Zoom on Thursdays from 7-9 pm, September 17-December 17. Registration is required via Realm – use this short link – bit.ly/ArtistsWayatMillCreek or use the registration button below.
