An Official Welcome to Mill Creek’s next Minister

We are pleased to extend an official welcome to Reverend Christe Lunsford, who will be our new minister as of August 2025. Welcome to Mill Creek, Reverend Christe, and to a congregation that believes in the transformative power of love and community!

Rev. Christe (they, them, theirs), a native of Louisville, Kentucky, received their Masters of Divinity at Meadville Lombard Theological School, and was ordained by both their home congregation, First Unitarian Church of Louisville, Kentucky, and their intern congregation Unitarian Universalist Church of Rockville, Illinois. In 2022 they were welcomed into Full Fellowship by the Ministerial Fellowship Committee of the UUA (Unitarian Universalist Association). They have a background in theatrical design, and they are highly skilled in both voice and instrumental music. They served as a UU Music Director before completing their training as a UU minister.

Rev. Christe and their partner Dianna, along with their dog Blue, plan to move to our area from Fort Wayne, Indiana in the coming months. They have two children, a son in New York City and a daughter in Louisville, Kentucky.
