April 15: Religious Exploration for Children and Youth

Here’s what you missed…Last Week, our Chalice Children began a unit about Mother Earth. Our Coming of Age group visited Wellsprings Congregation in Chester Springs, PA, and the Youth Group had a session on attentive listening. Congratulations to the Roots and Shoots friends who raised $230 for the Central Asia Institute during their first Annual Central Asian Banquet and potluck! Their presentations were amazing and the food was abundant and delicious.  Check out more photos of the event at www.facebook.com/millcreekrootsandshoots/

This Sunday, Our Chalice Children will continue their month-long unit celebrating our planet. The Roots and Shoots friends will make preparations to lead Earth Day worship next Sunday, April 22 – mark your calendars! The Youth will be visited by Dustyn Thompson of Delaware United.  To learn more about Delaware United, visit http://delawareunited.org/
