April 29: Religious Exploration for Children and Youth

This Sunday in Children’s and Youth RE: The Chalice Children will finish their unit celebrating the Earth.  The Roots and Shoots friends will enjoy the meadow.  Heather Petit will teach the Coming of Age class about our Earth-Based sources.  High School youth will learn about leadership styles.

For the Weekly

Here’s what you missed last Sunday… There were plenty of surprises in store for those who attended last Sunday’s Earth Day Celebration and Worship!  The Thread of Blue Klezmer Band made a joyful noise and got everyone involved in the celebration.  Children’s recording artist and puppeteer, Lois Young, brought smiles to every face and laughter to every heart as she (and her special friends) sang and entertained all! We were moved by readings that spoke of our 7th Shared Principle, affirming our respect for the interdependent web of existence – for which we are all a part. And, together we joined organizations all over the world in the “Climate Ribbon Ceremony.”
