Join us for worship this Sunday, September 20th at 10:30 a.m.
Child care provided. Our theme for the month of October is Generosity.
This week, Rev. Greg will continue our series on Generosity with the message: Cultivating An Open Heart. As we begin to understand our generosity as a spiritual value, how then might we intentionally build the strength and courage to live a generous life?
We will be joined by our friend and classical guitarist, Kevin Cope, who will be sharing some of his own compositions.
Our Religious Education program year kicks off this Sunday. Our students will assemble first in the Sanctuary for the initial part of worship, then will be dismissed to their classrooms.
Our Adult Religious Education group meets every Sunday before service in the MacArtor Library at 9:15 am. This week we will be continuing with the PBS documentary, “Slavery by Another Name” that challenges one of Americans’ most cherished assumptions: the belief that slavery in this country ended with the Emancipation Proclamation. “Slavery by Another Name” gives voice to the largely forgotten victims and perpetrators of forced labor and features their descendants living today. All are invited to join in the conversation!
It’s going to be another great day at Mill Creek!
