Join us for worship this Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
Rev. Greg will continue our series on presence with the message, “the present, the presents, the presence.”
Our music will be performed by the Mill Creek Choir under the direction of Kristen Tosh-Morelli, with Pam Allenstein, pianist; and featuring YRUU member Miranda Stomberg on flute.
Hot cocoa fundraiser before church service! Members of the Mill Creek youth are raising funds for a project they are working on. Plan on buying a delicious cup of hot cocoa before church on Sunday!
Children’s Religious Education/ Exploration (RE)
This Sunday in Children’s RE we will be reading Hans Christian Anderson’s The Little Fir Tree. The children will be making ornaments and decorating our Christmas tree. Next Sunday the children will be learning about Hanukkah and how a group of people stood up for their beliefs against all odds. We need adults to help in the classroom especially on January 8. We welcome all children to come to Classroom One after Rev. Greg’s story!
Adult Religious Education
Come early! Our Adult Religious Education group meets most every Sunday — before service at 9:15 am in the MacArtor Library. In the spirit of Advent, this Sunday we will be discussing racial justice this Sunday. What are we waiting for as individuals, as a congregation, and as a country to bridge the gaps which tear us apart? Both Rev. Mary Higgins and Jack Guerin will be contributing readings to stimulate and guide this discussion.
Second Sunday Potluck
Stay late! Everyone is welcome to stay with us after the service for our monthly potluck luncheon. Please bring a dish or beverage to share.
It’s going to be another great day at Mill Creek!
