We are pleased to be offering an exciting four-week class, Being White in the Black Lives Matter Movement, starting on Saturday, March 25 (new start date) followed by Saturdays, April 8 & 15 (all 10 am-12 noon) and Sunday, April 23 (12 noon-2 pm).
Each class will provide a unique opportunity to deepen our awareness of how our white racial identity impacts our social/racial justice efforts and to understand this work as both spiritual and personal work. Also, as we find connection with each other, we will build courage to fulfill the larger purpose of actively and effectively supporting Black Lives Matter.

Classes will be led by Linda Lucero and Joyce Bremley. Linda and Joyce are both highly experienced leaders in racial justice work. They will provide a diverse leadership experience so many perspectives can be explored and discussed.
There will be suggested readings provided before each class. We strongly encourage attendance of all four classes. Class is limited to 20 participants. Child care will be provided.
Registration is required by email to Linda Lucero or Rev. Greg Pelley. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Linda.
