Here at Mill Creek, we agree that Religious Exploration and Education is for EVERYONE regardless of age. Classes for Children and Youth meet every morning Sunday during worship services. Adults meet EVERY SUNDAY (9:15-10:15) in the MacArtor Library and at various times during the week. Check below to see what’s going on in your class this week!
This Week in the Children’s Classes
Anna leads the Chalice Children as they learn about how love means not only “saying” but “doing.” Stephanie and Heather lead the Roots and Shoots Friends as they share their love for lemurs through the Madagascar Biodiversity Project.
Youth Learning
Following the Story for All Ages in worship, the Youth will gather in the MacArtor Library to talk about their definitions of romantic love, infatuation, jealousy and unconditional love. Following the worship, the Our Whole Lives class will meet for a session entitled, “Lovemaking.”
Adult Learning
9:15 – 10:15am Terry Vodery leads a session about our communal worship practices and the impact of coming together to worship, pray and grow together spiritually.
NOON – 2:00 Mary Higgins Leads the first session of the “Waking Up White” class. (MacArtor Library)
NOON – 1:00 Greg Pelley leads the “Introduction to Mill Creek” class (Main Office)

- Sunday, February 10 – (Immediately following worship) Introduction to Mill Creek. Grab a plate from the potluck and join Rev. Greg for a brief but meaningful discussion introducing you to the mission and ministry of Mill Creek. All are welcome.

- Friday February 22 – (6:30 – 8:00pm) Family Movie Night. In celebration of African American History Month, The RE-Imagineers are hosting a viewing of the 35-minute documentary, “The Children’s March” – an inspirational and upbeat film containing interviews and film footage of those who participated in the 1963 Children’s March in Birmingham, Alabama.
