Religious Exploration (RE)
It’s going to be another eventful day in Religious Education! Our Chalice Children will celebrate Valentine’s day. The Roots and Shoots friends will live our values as UU’s and affirm our 7th shared principle. The Coming of Age Class will have a lesson about our basic beliefs as UU’s, and the Youth Group will talk about romantic love. All are welcome as we Awaken to Love.
Adult Religious Exploration
Our 2018 Adult RE series Faith Like a River continues this Sunday. Join us at 9:00 am in the MacArtor Library with a session called We’re All Swimming in the Stream Together: Covenant. This workshop considers the history and meaning of covenant in our religious tradition. It explores the difference between a covenant and a statement of belief and examines the importance of covenant in the free church tradition as it pertains to both freedom of thought and freedom of governance. This workshop will:
- Trace the history of covenant through the Unitarian Universalist tradition, and
- Consider the importance of covenant to Unitarian Universalist identity.
This is a drop-in class, no registration necessary. Join us!
Join us after the worship service for our monthly potluck lunch. Bring a dish or beverages to share.
It’s going to be another wonderful day of worship and fellowship at Mill Creek!
