Information about the UUA Article II Vote - Unitarian Universalist Society of Mill Creek

Dear Friends,

My name is Fran Gulino and I am currently serving on the board of trustees at Mill Creek. Recently I served as a delegate at the General Assembly (GA) of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), held on June 21-25.

There is an important vote going on right now and I wanted to share the results with you. I am sharing a summary of the vote at general assembly (see ‘summary’ button below), and a copy of the current and proposed revision to Article II of the UUA bylaws (see ‘Article II’ button below)..

Next year the UUA annual meeting will be completely virtual. I think it would be wise for us to review the proposed changes to Article II as a congregation to determine how we would like our delegates to vote at some time during the next year. We should also select at least one delegate to attend for us.
