Join us this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King. We are privileged to welcome author, educator and movement builder Chris Crass who will share his message, “Courage for Racial Justice, Courage for Beloved Community.”
Chris Crass is the author of the new book “Towards the Other America: Anti-Racist Resources for White People Taking Action for Black Lives Matter.” He writes and speaks widely on anti-racist organizing, feminism for men, strategies to build visionary movements, and creating healthy culture and leadership for progressive activism.
Chris will be joined by Rev. Greg, Linda Lucero, and the UUSMC Choir under the direction of Kristen Tosh-Morelli and accompanied by Pam Allenstein.
Children’s Religious Education (RE)
We welcome and look forward to children coming to Classroom One on Sunday after Reverend Greg’s Story! This will be an active Sunday at UUSMC, as our children will be learning and practicing Yoga with Jeanne Hanson. There will be other games (possibly outside if it’s nice), so please encourage your kids to dress accordingly.
Adult Religious Education (ARE)
This Sunday, as part of our special Martin Luther King Day weekend, Chris Crass will be joining us in ARE. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with Chris in a more intimate setting.
It’s going to be another great day at Mill Creek!
