Join us for worship this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Last week Rev. Greg invited us all to take up the spiritual practice of getting lost in the wilderness, to venture into the unfamiliar and be open to the “more” that we are all seeking. And perhaps you thought, “Sounds great – but who has the time?” Or, “I don’t think I’m ready for that, maybe tomorrow.” This week we will examine some of the things that can get in the way of our spiritual practices and what we might do to remove such obstacles. Join Mill Creek member Maggie McLaughlin as she offers her message, “Into the Wilderness: Shifting Gears.”
The music for the day will be performed by Mill Creek youth Joey Tosh-Morelli on violin. He will be playing Bach and a couple fiddle tunes, and will be accompanied on guitars by his parents, Kristen and Vicky Tosh-Morelli.

We will be heading outside again this week to check out several happenings in the meadow. We’ll be looking for Monarch Butterflies and their eggs, we will probably be picking (and eating) some Black Raspberries, we will check on the baby Bluebirds, water and care for the Butterfly Garden, perhaps share a story and maybe get down to the park for some play. Parents: please have your child dress for the weather. We plan to be outside even in light rain. Sunglasses, cover ups and sunscreen are recommended for sunny days.
It’s going to be another great day at Mill Creek!
