This week, Rev. Greg will reflect on the lamentation of #BlackLivesMatter with a message called “Listen to the Cry.”
We will be joined by the choir of the Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware, directed by Dr. Marcelle Schiff, who will provide a varied repertoire for our service.
Our Religious Education students will join us in the sanctuary for the beginning of our worship service and will adjourn to the RE wing after the Story For All Ages.
Our Adult Religious Education group meets every Sunday before service in the MacArtor Library at 9:15 am. This week we will be viewing a talk by Tim Wise titled White Privilege, Racism, White Denial & The Cost of Inequality. Tim Wise is an anti-racism activist and writer. Since 1995, he has given speeches at over 600 college campuses across the U.S. He has trained teachers, corporate employees, non-profit organizations and law enforcement officers in methods for addressing and dismantling White racism their institutions.
