March 18: Religious Exploration for Children and Youth

Last Week, our Chalice Children will share Irish blessings as they continue learning about respecting others’ inherent worth and dignity. The Roots and Shoots Friends will continue learning about the crisis of access to education for girls and continue preparing for their Middle Eastern banquet (to be held April 8). The Coming of Age Class will begin planning their special worship celebration (June 3) when they will present their personal credo statements to the entire congregation.  Mark your calendars for this special occasion!

This Sunday, our Chalice Children will continue their unit about emotions.  The Roots and Shoots Friends will work on their projects and information to be presented to the congregation at the April 8 potluck. Middle Eastern food will be shared. Mark your calendars!  The Coming of Age class will be away on retreat at Murray Grove Retreat and Renewal Center.  They will join other UU Coming of Age groups from NY, PA and NJ for a weekend of formation and fellowship. The High School Age Youth will reunite with a new (and energized) team of adult advisors!!!

Next Sunday, The Chalice Children get to make some slime!  The Roots and Shoots Friends will work on their projects and information to be presented to the congregation at the April 8potluck. The “Coming of Agers” will meet with their mentors.  The Youth Group meets with Fran Gulino to talk about the March for Our Lives.
