On Sunday, May 8th our 4-10 year old children will attend their own Children’s Worship. Children start in the Sanctuary and then proceed to their classroom after the Story for All Ages. Children will go to Room 1, where we will discuss this month’s theme of Forgiveness and how it connects to UUism and our Seven Principles.
On Saturday, May 14th, children that attended Age of Reason have a practice session for our presentation on the 15th. The practice will start at 9:30 am in Room 1. It shouldn’t take very long, but the Age of Reason children may stay with me until the leadership meeting is over, for those parents attending. Please have them bring their belief statement with them.
On Sunday, May 15th, our Age of Reason children and our Coming of Age students will be presenting to the congregation their belief statements and credos.
On Sunday, May 22nd our Chalice Children and our Questers children will start in the Sanctuary and then proceed to their classroom after the Story for All Ages. The children will continue discussing this month’s theme of Forgiveness in connection with a social action or social justice topic or activity.
On Sunday, May 29th our Chalice Children and our Questers children will start in the Sanctuary and then proceed to their classroom after the Story for All Ages. On the occasions that we have a 5th Sunday in a month, we take this opportunity to learn about and observe some celebratory practices of holidays from different religions around the world.
