This Sunday in Children’s and Youth RE: From learning how to tie a shoe, to learning to read, to losing a tooth, the Chalice Children will celebrate the changes that are happening as they grow. The Roots and Shoots friends will continue a project of their choice.  Coming of Agers will meet with the DRE, and High School youth will talk about multigenerational leadership.

Potluck Lunch & All-Church Read & Discussion

After Service

Plan on staying with us after church service to enjoy food and fellowship. Our all-church read of Bryan Stevenson’s Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption will conclude with a discussion of the book during the meal. All are welcome even if you haven’t read the book. Please bring a side dish to share. NOTE: this month’s potluck lunch is being held one week earlier.

Share Our Plate

For the month of May we will be donating half of our undesignated plate offerings to Arts Holding Hands and Hearts (AHHAH) in West Chester, PA. AHHAH is an expressive art and literacy-based program, serving disadvantaged youth and their families in communities in Chester County. Their programs are designed to engage youth in mindful, artistic initiatives in order to establish positive pathways towards building a productive and fulfilling future.

It’s going to be another wonderful day of worship and fellowship at Mill Creek!
