** Spring Craft Fair this Saturday
Saturday, May 18
10 am to 2 pm
Come and check out over 30 vendors who will sell their art, craftworks and hand-made items at our spring craft fair this Saturday.

Look for wooden bowls and cutting boards, resin art, sea glass art, freeze dried candy, alcohol ink art from our very own Ewa Iracka, upcycled home decor items, and MORE.
We are also hosting a Mill Creek table at this event for anyone who wants to donate their own handmade items. We already have some wonderful things like Janice Buckwalter’s hand-made blankets and jewelry, and Sara Durham’s matted photography.

Please join in on the fun and help make our event a success! See Sara Durham ( as well as go to our website ( for further details.

** Sunday Worship Service Information
May 19, 2024
10:30 am

It’s easy to be wrong, but hard to realize that you are wrong. In this month we talk about being a pluralistic community. Join us this Sunday when Rev. Christian Schmidt explores what it means to be wrong — at least some of the time — in his sermon, “On Being Wrong.”

Music for this service will be performed by Kathryn Tuttle. Kathryn is an experienced violinist, teacher and performer from Columbus, Indiana. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance at Butler University and is currently working towards her Master of Music in Violin Performance at the University of Delaware. Recently Kathryn has been performing as a section violinist for five seasons with the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, an orchestra which regularly records for NAXOS Records and has won five ASCAP awards. She has performed with the Butler University Ballet Orchestra for four seasons, performing major productions with one of the top collegiate ballet programs in the nation. Outside of orchestral experience, Kathryn enjoys regularly performing chamber music with both her midwest-based and east-coast string quartets.

** Service Auction 2024 –
A Big Success!

We want to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to anyone and everyone who participated in the Service Auction in any capacity. We would not have realized such great success without:
* OUR DONORS! Big, small and everything in-between, every donation made a difference!
* Everyone who made a purchase in the live or silent auction or made a financial donation
* All who helped set up or break down before and on auction day and afterward
* Anyone who helped sell tickets & distribute paddles
* Those who recruited and provided childcare
* Friends who shopped for and/or helped serve the food & drinks
* Helpers who organized the silent auction offerings & bidding
* Folks in charge of decorations
* Each person who assisted with data management & item catalog preparation
* People who designed and produced posters & tickets
* Anybody who helped advertise the event on social media or word-of-mouth

We are ESPECIALLY THANKFUL to event coordinator Janice Buckwalter and her son David of Bucky’s Barbeque for providing the delicious food again this year.

It was a fun and festive event with a good time had by all!

With everyone’s help we reached and exceeded our fundraising goal — $19,000+ !

** Asian Pear Tree Maintenance this Sunday
Everyone is welcome to join us this Sunday, May 19th after coffee time to thin the fruit from our Asian Pear trees. It’s an easy task to thin the bunches of fruit with scissors or clippers, and this helps the remaining fruit to become larger and healthier. There will be experienced folks present to show you how, and this is great chance to get some fresh air and exercise. We will probably work for about an hour, but shorter work sessions are welcome!

** Free Jazz Concert at Mill Creek!

Christian on Zoom at 7 pm on Wednesday, May 15 and continuing on the third Wednesday of each month through June. Contact Rev. Christian ( with questions.
