Continuing on our theme of Generosity, this week we welcome back Rev. Keith Goheen who will present his sermon, “A Mountain of Bread.” Rev. Goheen will be joined by the UUSMC Choir. Our Religious Exploration will assemble first in the Sanctuary for the initial part of worship, then will be dismissed to their classrooms for fun and creative exploration of how they can be generous in their lives.
Come early! Our Adult Religious Education group meets every Sunday before service in the MacArtor Library at 9:15 am. This week we will be *continuing* with the PBS documentary, Slavery by Another Name that challenges one of Americans’ most cherished assumptions: the belief that slavery in this country ended with the Emancipation Proclamation. For most Americans this is entirely new history. Slavery by Another Name gives voice to the largely forgotten victims and perpetrators of forced labor and features their descendants living today. All are invited to join in the conversation!
It’s going to be another great day at Mill Creek!
