November 26: Religious Exploration for Children and Youth

Chalice Children: Last Sunday, as a group project, the children made their own mosaic chalice to decorate the wall of their classroom. They learned the story of how the chalice came to be a symbol of Unitarian Universalism.

Roots and Shoots: The Roots and Shoots Friends had their first read through for their “not-so-traditional” holiday play, “The Year Mrs. Claus Saved Christmas” (a play about taking action to make the world a better place to be). Mark your calendars for the December 17 premiere!

Coming of Age and High School Youth were invited to remain in the worship to witness the play, The Stain. Thanks to your youth who came to the church on Saturday evening to bake vegan and gluten free goodies for Coffee Hour!

Chalice Children: Chalice Children will have fun making Thanksgiving crafts and learning about the power and joy of sharing gratitude.

Roots and Shoots: This Sunday the R&S Friends will continue rehearsals and preparations for their Christmas play.

Coming of Age and High School Youth: No Classes this week. Classes will resume December 3 with a lesson on Abrahamic Traditions for the Coming of Age Class (in preparation for our Synagogue visit) and a chalice circle meeting for our High School Youth.
