Join us for worship at 10:30 am for “It’s You Make The Call Sunday!” Based on the popular vote of the congregation, this Sunday Rev. Greg will re-preach a message offered more than a year ago, called “We Could Be Heroes.” As we continue with our theme of Community, The Practice of Encountering Others, “Heroes” speaks to embracing the radical insecurity of life and how we might be heroic in our imperfections, especially in relationship with others.
Music for the day will be performed by Cab Calloway School of the Arts student Katie August.
DURING WORSHIP SERVICE:
Religious Exploration (RE)
Children’s Programs: This Sunday during the Religious Exploration Hour, our Chalice Children will learn about the joy of gratitude (an important lesson) as the Roots and Shoots Class continue preparations for their Christmas Play, “The Year Mrs. Claus Saved Christmas.”
Youth Programs: No classes during Thanksgiving break week for Coming of Age and High School Youth. Classes resume December 3. See you there!
If you are interested in becoming a part of a vibrant and growing Religious Exploration Program, WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU! Contact our DRE at dre@uusmc.org or, call her directly at 302-367-6533. She will be happy to hear from you!
