Join us at 10:30 am for a multi-generational (and multi-species!) Blessing of the Animals. Members and friends are invited to bring their well-behaved live pets; or a photograph of them; or even a stuffed animal to be blessed. We will also create space during the service to honor those animals that have died and remain in our memory — bring a photo or an object of remembrance of a beloved deceased pet and we will create a memorial altar. (If you choose to bring a live animal, they must be restrained at all times and well-socialized. If you have allergies, please know that there will be live animals in our sanctuary, take care of yourself.)
Music for the day will be performed by the Mill Creek Choir under the direction of Kristen Tosh-Morelli, with Pam Allenstein, pianist.
Children’s Religious Exploration
There will be no formal RE classes this Sunday so that the children may participate in the Blessing of the Animals service. Stuffed animals are welcome!
