October 2: Perfection or Imperfectoin: Which Will it Be?

Join us for worship this Sunday, October 2 at 10:30 a.m.

This week we will be joined by Rev. Dave Hunter who will present his message, “Perfection or Imperfectoin: Which Will it Be?” Drawing on sources from the Bible through nuclear physics to the upcoming presidential election, Rev. Dave will share a sermon introducing and exemplifying imperfection, our October theme.

The music will be provided by Mike Cook – Steel Happiness. Mike will perform for us on his steel drums, with hymn accompaniment by Peg Duffy.

Come early! Our Adult Religious Education group meets every Sunday at 9:15 am in the MacArtor Library. In this final week of our examination of the Unitarian Universalist faith, we will discuss the intriguing thought that in Unitarian Universalism, we “deny the immaculate conception of virtue,” and the justification in our faith for optimism. Even if you have not attended the previous three weeks, please join us Sunday for the last of our series. Each week is self-contained so there is always room for you. We hope to see you there.

It’s going to be another great day at Mill Creek!
