THANK YOU!!! Many thanks to the members, friends, parents and volunteers who made our Religious Exploration Kick-Off a great success! Attendance was amazing – and our children had a wonderful time constructing the giant Peace Doves they will be flying on Sunday, September 24 in commemoration of the International Day of Peace (Sept 21). For more information on how our Religious Exploration Program shares our values with our children on this special day, click here.
Autumnal Equinox Celebration! Everyone is welcome to join us for Family Fun Night this Saturday evening, September 23, 6:30 PM. Come out and celebrate the arrival of fall with fellowship and a camp fire – and S’mores!
Butterflies
Symbolic Monarch Migration Program: This month, our children’s classes will be preparing and sending a greeting packet to children in Mexico through the Symbolic Monarch Migration Program. We will be explaining our work to help Monarch Butterflies and telling them about our wonderful church. In the Spring, we will receive a greeting packet from the children in Mexico as the real Monarchs begin their spring and summer flights back north to begin the amazing process again.
Butterfly Garden: Kids and adults are encouraged to bring Butterfly “treats” and leave them on our “Butterfly Altar” in the Butterfly Garden. Old and even rotten fruit is quite the delicacy (think mushy, over-ripe fruit). For more information about our Butterfly Spirituality program visit here
