Room for Grace

Join us for worship this Sunday, December 6th at 10:30 am

This week, we begin our month of Grace with Rev. Greg’s message, “Room for Grace.” Rev. Greg will be joined by the Young Religious Unitarian Universalists serving as our Worship Associates. We are also privileged to listen to the beautiful music of Amanda Ostrusky, Kathe Erickson, Kristen Tosh-Morelli, and Pam Allenstein. This a a multi-generational service, all ages are invited to remain in the sanctuary. Supervised activities for the children who do not wish to stay in the service will be in Room 1.

Come early!  Our Adult Religious Education group meets every Sunday before service in the MacArtor Library at 9:15 am. This week we will be viewing “Environmental Justice for All” by Robert Bullard who has been called the father of the environmental justice movement. For more than two decades, he has championed environmental protection as a civil rights and social justice issue.  Mr. Bullard colorfully sensitizes us to the connections between race and waste, dumping in Dixie, and transportation apartheid.  He states that public transportation in Atlanta has been underfunded because the white community has re-labelled MARTA (Moving Africans Rapidly Through Atlanta).

It’s going to be another great day at Mill Creek!
