Join us for worship this Sunday, September 11th 10:30 am.
This week we celebrate our multigenerational Ingathering with our Gathering the Waters ritual. Rev. Greg will offer an extended story and a short homily, “As Deep as Your Heart. As Wide as Your Thirst.” Everyone is invited to bring a small amount of water to pour into the common bowl — symbolic water from your life — be it from your kitchen tap or your favorite stream.
We rejoice in the return of our beloved choir, directed by Kristen Tosh-Morelli and accompanied by Pam Allenstein.
Come early! Our Adult Religious Education group meets every Sunday at 9:15 am in the MacArtor Library. This week we begin a series of conversations facilitated by Mill Creek member, Rev. Mary Higgins. One of our daily conversations with ourselves is how to honor our humanity and that of others in religious community. We will look at a variety of touchstones that address that in both historical and current contexts. As a source we will use the work of one of the leading theologians of our faith, James Luther Adams. The discussion will be lively and help us better understand each other, our faith and our responses to the demands of our time. Please join us.
It’s going to be another great day at Mill Creek!
