Join us for worship this Sunday, January 10 at 10:30 am
This week, Rev. Greg continues our month of Resilience with the message “Shadow Bearers.” We will be joined by the Clarion Brass ensemble featuring Gordon Roth and Kristen Tosh-Morelli, trumpets; Wendy Myers, horn; Tom Hartline, trombone; Brian Hanson, euphonium and Amanda Ostrusky, tuba.
Come early! Our Adult Religious Education group meets every Sunday before service in the MacArtor Library at 9:15 am. This week we will be viewing a Ted talk by Rizwana Hasan who is a Bangladeshi attorney and environmentalist. Rizwana has been dubbed “Hero of Environment”by TIME magazine. Her campaign of judicial activism in Bangladesh affirms that the people’s right to a good environment is no less than their right to dignity and life. For her work, she is a recipient of the Goldman Environmental Prize and the Ramon Magsaysay Award, widely regarded as Asia’s Nobel Prize.
Everyone is welcome to remain with us after the service to enjoy food & fellowship at our monthly Pot Luck Luncheon. Please bring a dish to share. We will be taking down the holiday tree and decorations during the lunch.
It’s going to be another great day at Mill Creek!
