During the months of September and October we will be sharing half of our undesignated plate offering to the newly formed advocacy organization, Unitarian Universalist Delaware Advocacy Network (UUDAN).
UUDAN has a leadership team with representation from all 5 Delaware congregations. It offers a new dimension for UU social justice programs in Delaware, providing a vehicle to research and draft legislation and lobby for reform measures in Dover.
From the UUDAN website:
UUDAN joins twenty other UU State Advocacy Networks (SAN) which are combined in a national coalition. UUDAN’s role is to offer members and friends of the five Delaware Unitarian Universalist congregations the opportunity to join together as an advocacy organization. Our mission is to champion actions and policies at the local, state and national levels which express our Unitarian Universalist values.
