Dear Friends,

The Mill Creek Board of Trustees is delighted to announce that the Reverend Christian Schmidt has accepted our offer to become the next Minister of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Mill Creek.

Rev. Schmidt was ordained in 2013. Since then, he has held temporary Ministerial positions at six UU congregations, most recently at the Mt. Vernon Unitarian Church in Alexandria, Virginia.
Rev. Schmidt is a bright, creative, and engaging individual who, we believe, will fit into our Mill Creek culture very well. Given the breadth of the number of congregations he has served over the last 10 years, he will come with a toolbox full of fresh ideas and programs. He lives with his wife, the Reverend Kristin Grassel Schmidt, who is the minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Silver Spring, Maryland. They live in Olney, MD with their three children.

Rev. Schmidt will be joining us the week of August 6th.

Join us for service this Sunday, July 23rd, when we will share more details about his upcoming ministry with Mill Creek.
