Join us for worship this Sunday, January 3 at 10:30 am
This week, Rev. Greg begins our month of Resilience with the message “The Bounce.” As we enter 2016, we will also participate in our Threshold Ritual, and we will welcome new members into our congregation. Rev. Greg will be joined by the Young Religious Unitarian Universalists serving as our Worship Associates. We are privileged to listen to the beautiful a cappella voices of the women in the UUSMC Choir under the direction of Kristen Tosh-Morelli.
This a a multi-generational service, all ages are invited to remain in the sanctuary. Supervised activities for the children who do not wish to stay in the service will be in Room 1.
Come early! Our Adult Religious Education group meets every Sunday before service in the MacArtor Library at 9:15 am. This week we are continuing our exploration of environmental justice with a video entitled Greening the Ghetto. In this emotionally charged Ted talk, MacArthur-winning activist Majora Carter details her fight for environmental justice in the South Bronx — and shows how minority neighborhood suffer most from flawed urban policy.
It’s going to be another great day at Mill Creek!
