Join us for worship this Sunday, November 15th at 10:30 am
Today we welcome back returning guest speaker, the Rev. Libby Smith who continues on our monthly theme of courage with her message, “Trumpet Vines, Dandelions and Mustard Seeds.” Any gardener knows that weeds have a way of infiltrating the most carefully tended garden bed, and we spend a lot of time and energy rooting them out. But when the garden becomes a metaphor for life and faith, the weeds may be more challenging — and more valuable — than we expected.
Our music will be performed by UUSMC member Catherine Marie Charlton, featuring selections from her upcoming performance debut at The Metropolitan Room (NYC) next Friday, November 20.Children and youth are invited to join us for the first portion of the service before heading to their Religious Exploration classes.
