** Collection for #2, #4 & #5 Recyclable Plastics Continues
————————————————————
We are continuing our collection of clean, dry, empty plastics stamped with #2, #4, and/or #5 to support our park bench project. See Ann Draper or Janice Buckwalter with questions.

We have placed an order for 9 park benches with Eco Plastic Products of Delaware, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that recycles eligible plastic and transforms it into consumer products. They use recyclable plastic marked #2, #4 and #5 ONLY in their process. Learn more using the buttons below.

** Join us for our next Summer Campfire
————————————————————
Everyone is welcome to join us for our next Summer Campfire on Saturday, July 22nd at 7:30 pm (weather permitting). Meet us in the Memorial Grove* and bring your favorite lawn or camp chair, or a blanket, and all your comforts (beverages, bug spray, etc.). *Note that there is a slight grassy incline leading to the campfire site.

This is a good opportunity to invite someone – friend, family member, neighbor – to join our gathering and enjoy fellowship, singing, poetry, and storytelling.

Questions? Ask Jamie Kegerise. (mailto:jamie@dsofurniture.com)

Did you know…?

The memorial grove is situated at a very good vantage point to see the sunset as the picture on the left will show; it was taken during summer solstice, 2020.

** UUA Applauds Supreme Court Ruling Upholding Indian Child Welfare Act
————————————————————
The UUA applauds the Supreme Court’s ruling in Haaland vs Brackeen because the Indian Child Welfare Act preserves Indigenous culture and sovereignty by protecting Native children from being removed during custody proceedings and placed with non-Native families.
