This Sunday in Religious Education/Exploration

Children’s Classes
This Sunday (March 24): The Chalice Children will have a lesson about cooperation. The Roots and Shoots Friends will begin their awareness project on the environment and finish their hand-painted rock sale and fundraiser.

Youth Learning
During the Sunday morning RE hour, the Youth will meet in the library to engage in a discussion about prejudice. The Our Whole Lives class meets this Sunday (noon-1:30) for a session and discussion on the subject of contraception and safer sex.

Adult Learning
9:15-10:15 This Sunday, we continue our Adult RE Series, Spirit in Practice. Karen Rege will lead a session and discussion about Body Practices. You are invited to an experience of moving the body as a spiritual practice. Come and join us!

SUMMER CAMP FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Camp Unirondack is for children and youth between the ages of 8 and 17 who are looking to connect with other UU Youth, enjoy limitless fun in the Adirondack Mountains, eat s’mores, create art and music, and play games and sports while learning about the importance of community.

The camp is known to be a space of programs that promote the acceptance and respect of all campers. For more information, visit www.unirondack.org.

TECH TEAM: Here’s an opportunity for Mill Creek Youth to join the Worship Technology Team! Find out more during the orientation and training session on Saturday, April 6th at 9 am.

ADOPT A TRAIL: Mill Creek Youth still have an opportunity to participate in the “Adopt a Trail” program at White Clay Creek Park! It’s a fun opportunity to spend some time outside! We’ll volunteer once per month during the Sunday worship hour. This volunteer opportunity begins in June. Interested? Email dre@uusmc.org.
