Children’s Classes

This Sunday (March 17): Children’s and Youth morning RE is off for the week. The Chalice Children’s room will remain open during worship for our little ones. Regular RE Programming will resume next Sunday, March 24.

Youth Learning

This Sunday (March 17): Sunday Morning Youth RE is off for the week. Regular Sunday morning programming will resume next week (March 24). The Our Whole Lives class meets this Sunday (noon-1:30) for a session and discussion on the subject of pregnancy.

Adult Learning

9:15 – 10:15 This Sunday, we continue our Adult RE Series, Spirit in Practice. Our own Mary Higgins will lead a meaningful session and discussion about life partnerships. The workshop is an opportunity for you to see every moment of your daily life as an opportunity to deepen your spiritual awareness and connections. Join us at 9:15 am for coffee and interesting discussion!

SPECIAL MILL CREEK EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT

It’s a congregation-wide Sock Hop Dance Party! …and you’re invited!

The RE-Imagineers are hosting a special event for EVERYONE! Music provided by our very own DJ Prakash Vaidy!

Bollywood, R&B, Rock and Roll, Pop, 80’s, 90’s… DJ Prakash has it all! We’ll have plenty of snacks, activities and dancing for all!

Saturday, March 30 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Admission is FREE!

The Autism Awareness walk will be held on April 27 at Glasgow Park in Bear. For the second year in a row, Charity Crossing is organizing the Autism Awareness 5K Walk! Show your support for the people and families in Autism spectrum. With every step we take and every dollar we raise, we help enhance lives today and accelerate a spectrum of solutions for tomorrow. Spring is a perfect time to walk with your friends and family.

Youth Service Hours Opportunities

TECH TEAM: Here’s an opportunity for youth to join the Worship Technology Team! Find out more at the training session on Saturday, April 6th at 9 am.

ADOPT A TRAIL: Youth still have an opportunity to participate in the “Adopt a Trail” program at White Clay Creek Park! It’s a fun opportunity to spend some time outside! We’ll volunteer once per month during the Sunday worship hour. This volunteer opportunity begins in June. Interested? Email dre@uusmc.org.
