What’s Happening in Religious Exploration at Mill Creek

This Sunday in”Summer of Science”

It’s been called the vinegar and baking soda reaction for a new generation. This Sunday, the children will be making a mentos candy and diet coke geyser and exploring the amazing science behind the exciting explosion!

The 2019-2020 Religious Exploration year at Mill Creek is fast approaching and there’s a lot of information to share!
If you have volunteered to serve in any capacity beginning in the fall, we will be sharing important information on the following dates:

  • August 4 (9:30 – 10:20) Team meeting for Chalice Children Volunteers
  • August 4 (12:00 – 12:50) Team meeting for Roots and Shoots Volunteers
  • August 18 (12:00 – 12:50) Coming of Age/Youth Leaders Team Meeting
  • September 7 (10:00 – 12:00) – “All RE Volunteers Orientation”  This is a very important meeting for All RE volunteers (Lunch provided)
  • September 8 In-Gathering
  • September 15 Children’s and Youth RE Launch!
  • September 29 Coming of Age Class begins

LAST SUNDAY, 29 MEMBERS AND FRIENDS ANSWERED THE CALL TO SERVE MILL CREEK’S RELIGIOUS EXPLORATION PROGRAM.

That’s 29 adults who will help make a positive, lasting impact on the lives of children and youth. There’s still room for YOU.  Your children and youth are still in need of volunteer teachers for children and mentors for youth.
