This Sunday, Rev. Greg continues our theme of Belonging with the message, “Embeddedness.” Our music will be performed by the Mill Creek choir, under the direction of Kristen Tosh-Morelli, with Pam Allenstein, pianist and Diana Saunders, flute.
In Religious Exploration, our Chalice Children and our Questers children will start in the Sanctuary and then proceed to their classroom after the Story for All Ages. The children will continue discussing this month’s theme of Belonging in connection with other world religions or cultures. Please note: With the nice weather expected on Sunday, we may take the opportunity to bring to children to the park. Please be sure the children keep their jackets with them when they go to class in case we need them for the park. Thanks!
Come early! Our Adult Religious Education group meets every Sunday at 9:15 am in the MacArtor Library. This week we will be discussing the Yoga Sutras of Sage Patanjali which is a foundational text of Yoga. Patanjali’s Yoga has essentially to do with the mind and its modifications. It deals with the training of the mind to achieve oneness with the Universe. Seetha Coleman will be guiding our discussion.
It’s going to be another great day at Mill Creek!
