This Sunday, Rev. Greg continues our theme of Belonging with the message, Bound Together.
Our music will be performed by the Mill Creek choir, under the direction of Kristen Tosh-Morelli, with Pam Allenstein, pianist.
In Religious Exploration, guided by Stefanie Anderson and assisted by teaching volunteers, our Chalice Children and our Questers children will start in the Sanctuary and then proceed to their classroom after the Story for All Ages. The children will continue discussing this month’s theme of Belonging in connection with a social action or social justice topic or activity.
Come early! Our Adult Religious Education group meets every Sunday at 9:15 am in the MacArtor Library. This week we will be viewing a talk by Joseph Goldstein titled, “Mindfulness: What it is and is Not.” Following a Peace Corps tour completed in 1967, Joseph Goldstein has practiced different forms of Buddhist meditation under well-known teachers from India, Burma and Tibet. He is co-founder of the of the Insight Meditation Society, author of numerous books on Buddhism, and leader of retreats worldwide on insight and lovingkindness meditation.
It’s going to be another great day at Mill Creek!
