This week, Mill Creek member Eileen Selph shares her message, “Be Your (Evolving) Self” which will involve a brief presentation of thoughts on one perception of authenticity in relation to evolution. We will also welcome a new member and commission the new Board of Trustees.
We will be joined by the Mill Creek choir, directed by Kristen Tosh-Morelli, with Pam Allenstein, pianist.
Come early! Our Adult Religious Education group meets every Sunday at 9:15 am in the MacArtor Library. This week we are continuing our four week unit led by Bob Broesler. This unit is based on the book Christ and Culture by H. Richard Niebuhr. However, there is no required reading for ARE. Bob is guiding us through this unit in easy digestible steps. The book examines Christianity from the perspective of various movements interacting with a larger world. This will allow us to examine five ways of “being church” and at the same time reveal five approaches to the doctrines of creation, humanity and salvation.
It’s going to be another great day at Mill Creek!
