Come early! Our Adult Religious Exploration group meets every Sunday before service at 9:15 am in the MacArtor Library. This Sunday we will focus on The Gendered Brain. Lectures focus on neuroscientific studies on gender differences in the male and female — from aggression centers to emotion processing to systematizing and verbal abilities. Melissa Hines of the University of Cambridge discusses how the differences in sex hormones in male and female fetuses set the stage for gendered psychological development. Other researchers and a writer posit different ways of thinking gender.
