People arrive at our doors from their full and busy lives seeking community on their spiritual journey. How do we faithfully walk with someone from the moment they take that first step across our threshold? As we walk together, what are the milestones along the way, as we move from a curious visitor to an engaged leader? Where are the resting places in our journey as members of this community of faith? What is the full spectrum of membership in our church?

On Saturday, October 1, the Unitarian Universalist Society of Mill Creek will be hosting a Membership Workshop facilitated by Lori Emison Clair. Lori is one of the founding members of UUAMP (UU Association of Membership Professionals), and the former Director of Congregational Life at the First Unitarian Church of Des Moines. She regularly consults with Unitarian Universalist churches, helping to develop the systems that lead to deeper relationships and engaged membership.

Light lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to Rev. Greg [minister@uusmc.org] so that we have a headcount for food.
